URSROBOT demos the NEXMOW wireless-free robot lawn mower at B&Ms Zero-E Emission Expo at Cal-State Fullerton
With the passage of California AB1346, the State is quickly moving to a zero-emission landscape equipment future in January of 2024. California will ban the sale of gas-powered landscape equipment (25 horse power and smaller engines).
B&M Lawn and Garden is taking a leadership role in their Southern California market, and hosted their first Zero-E Emission Expo on September 7th at Cal-State Fullerton. The Zero-E Expo provided B&M customers with an opportunity to demo all the latest zero-emission solutions from Outdoor Power Equipment manufactures from Makita, STIHL, URS ROBOT, Gravely, Husqvarna, Mean Green, Ego, Greenworks, Echo Robotics, Towa Tools, Milwaukee. AGZA and California CORE sent representatives to educate professional landscapers about zero-emission commercial standards and California’s $30M rebate program to support gardeners transition from gas to battery-powered equipment.
URSROBOT, Echo Robotics and Husqvarna Show-Off the Future of Autonomous Lawn Mowing
Robot lawn mowers are growing in market adoption and the Zero-E Expo attendees got to try the fleet of robot mowers from URSROBOT, Echo Robotics and Husqvarna. The NEXMOW mower is the first and only wire-free robot mower designed for landscapers to Drop, Mow & Go from site-to-site. Echo Robotics featured their large turf mower designed for golf courses and sports fields applications, and Husqvarna demoed their homeowner series of Automowers. The Echo and Husqvarna solutions require the installation of boundary wires and charing stations. All the robot lawn mowers have a place in the future of landscaping solutions.
